How it works
Step 1
Set what each day can take
Your delivery days, your order cutoff, how many orders a day can hold, and limits for the products that run out first.
Step 2
Customers choose from the days left
A calendar on the product page, cart and cart drawer, and in checkout on Shopify Plus. Full and closed days can't be picked.
Step 3
Every order lands on a day you can fulfil
Each order is tagged with its date and counted against that day. A checkout rule stops orders for days that filled up mid-payment.
More than a date picker
Dalbie Dates is scheduling and capacity management. The calendar your customers see is the last step of it.
Capacity management
Decide how much each day can take. Dalbie Dates sells exactly that much.
Daily order limits
A cap on how many orders each delivery day can take. A day closes on your store the moment it's full.
Product and variant limits
Separate caps, in units, for the things that run out first, such as a hamper that takes a whole morning to build.
Availability windows
Sell a product only for delivery inside set dates, such as a seasonal box or a Christmas range.
Blocked dates
Close any day for deliveries, for packing, or both, such as bank holidays. Repeat them every year or every month.
Upcoming deliveries
The next two weeks on one screen: orders booked against each day's limit, and the day each is packed.
Holiday calendars Coming soon
Named sets of closed days you can reuse across products, with CSV import and export.
Capacity calendar Coming soon
Every day as far ahead as customers can book: booked, remaining, blocked.
Delivery scheduling
Customers choose from the days you can still deliver, wherever they buy.
Delivery days and cutoff
Choose which weekdays you deliver and pack, and the daily order cutoff, in your store's own timezone.
Lead time and booking horizon
Days to prepare and days in transit, so the earliest date offered is one you can make, and a limit on how far ahead customers can book.
Date choice wherever customers buy
On the product page, cart page and cart drawer on every plan, and in checkout for Shopify Plus stores.
Safety net at checkout
Orders for days that are full, blocked or past the cutoff are stopped before payment. Anything that still gets through is flagged for you.
Correction log
If an order's date can't be kept, it moves to the next day you can deliver, and Home shows the date the customer chose and why.
Change dates from the order page
Move a delivery from the Shopify order page, with the same checks a customer gets.
Orders keep coming
If Dalbie Dates can't be reached, customers can still check out, and the order is flagged for you to give it a date.
Delivery countries
Offer dates only to the countries you deliver to.
A cutoff for each weekday Coming soon
Different order cutoffs for different days.
Customer self-service Coming soon
Customers move an upcoming delivery from their account, within the same rules and capacity.
Notifications Coming soon
Emails or texts when a date is confirmed or changed.
Fulfilment and integrations
Every order carries its date, so the rest of your operation can read it.
Dates on every order
Each dated order gets an order tag (ND-Delivery: 2026/10/23) and a "Delivery date" attribute, and its "Fulfill by" date is set.
ReCharge Coming soon
Subscription renewals given valid delivery dates automatically, and skips or edits checked straight away.
More subscription apps Coming soon
Skio, Loop, Bold and PayWhirl, after ReCharge.
