Getting started
Dalbie Dates sets how many orders each delivery day can take, lets your customers choose from the days that are left, and keeps every order on a date you can fulfil. Setup takes a few minutes.
1. Install and choose a plan
Install Dalbie Dates from the Shopify App Store, then choose a plan. Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, and Shopify bills you on your Shopify invoice. See pricing to compare plans.
2. Run the setup wizard
The first time you open the app, a short wizard walks you through:
- When you fulfil orders: your timezone, the days you pack and send orders, your daily cutoff time, how long parcels take to arrive, and any preparation days.
- When customers can receive them: your delivery days, and the most orders you can deliver on one day.
- Holidays and closures: days you’re closed or carriers don’t deliver.
- Add the calendar to your store: buttons that open your theme editor in the right place.
- Show the date at checkout and after: optional Shopify settings so customers see the date they chose.
- Limits for individual products: optional, and you can do it later under Products.
Each step uses the same settings you’ll find later under Settings, so nothing is fixed. You can also skip the wizard and come back to it from the Home page.
3. Check your Home page
Home shows what to fulfil today, the next two weeks of deliveries against each day’s limit, and any orders that need your attention. That’s where you’ll spend most of your time.
Next steps
