Add the calendar to your store
The calendar takes its fonts and colours from your theme. The setup wizard’s Add the calendar to your store step has buttons that open your theme editor in the right place. You can also add each part yourself under Online Store → Themes → Customize.
Product pages
Add the Delivery Calendar block to your product template. Customers choose a date before adding to cart, and the date is saved on their cart.
Cart page
Add the Cart Delivery Calendar block to your cart template. Customers confirm or change their date before checkout, and checkout waits until they’ve chosen one.
Cart drawer
If your theme opens a drawer instead of a cart page, turn on Cart Drawer Calendar under App embeds. It adds the calendar inside the drawer, above the checkout button. It only loads the full calendar when a drawer opens, so it doesn’t slow your pages down.
Checkout (Shopify Plus)
On Shopify Plus, you can also let customers choose their date in checkout. In Settings → Checkout → Customize, add the Dalbie Dates date picker block. It shows after the delivery address. The checkout date picker is on the Growth and Plus plans.
Show the date after purchase
In the checkout editor, add the Dalbie Dates: delivery date block to the Thank you page and the Order status page. It reads “Delivery on Thu 22 Oct” in your customer’s language.
To add the date to the order confirmation email, edit it under Settings → Notifications and paste this where you’d like the date to appear:
{% if attributes["Delivery date"] %}
<p><strong>Delivery date:</strong> {{ attributes["Delivery date"] }}</p>
{% endif %}
Customers in other countries
Under Settings → Countries, choose whether every customer gets delivery dates or only customers in some countries. Customers elsewhere don’t see the calendar, checkout doesn’t ask them for a date, and their orders aren’t dated.
